Managing Your Customers for Business Growth - An Event Focused on CRM

Microsoft Dynamics CRM DemoExigy organised a business breakfast on the 18th of October titled CRM: Managing Your Customers for Business Growth, aimed at helping organisations understand how a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution will work for their business.  The event brought together CFOs, CEOs, Sales Directors, Marketing Directors and Relationship Managers from different industries together with guest speakers: Eric Muscat, Partner, IT Advisory at KPMG Malta, Kevin Schembri, SMS&P Manager at Microsoft Malta and Anita Mangion, Business Development Manager at Exigy.

Eric Muscat opened the event with a walkthrough of the gains and pains of CRM, providing the audience with an analysis of the types of businesses that would typically benefit from CRM systems and why they need it.  “CRM is more than an IT system – it’s a business strategy with the Customer at its very centre”, said Mr. Muscat.  ”If we look at CRM as an IT project, it will fail - CRM projects need to be sponsored by the business leaders of our organisations”.

Kevin Schembri showcased the main pillars of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, explaining why the solution is the choice of over 23,000 customers across various industries, with over 1,400,000 users in more than 80 countries world-wide. “Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides your business with a 360 degree view of customer interactions”, said Mr. Schembri, ”this means providing your people with the right information and the right tools to help them increase productivity across your business.” He also showed studies from independent analyst firms, such as Gartner and Forrester, that position Microsoft Dynamics CRM as leader in the CRM industry.

Marketing Campaigns in CRMAnita Mangion showcased how Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 works in practice, demonstrating how the solution maximises marketing impact, drives sales productivity and optimises customer engagement. “Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is flexible and extensible, matching different business processes which, most of the time, are unique to every company”, said Ms. Mangion,  “the solution handles complex business models and relationships, saves up time on administration and seamlessly integrates with other Microsoft products”.

Ms. Mangion presented the commercial aspects and outlined what is needed to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, together with an indicative investment required for a typical implementation.

“CRM is not an off-the-shelf solution which you can simply plug and play. It represents an enterprise-wide investment that has to match the strategy of your business.  That’s why you need to appoint an accredited partner to implement the solution for you.  At Exigy, we possess the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to help your business effectively implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011”, added Ms. Mangion.
