This year the Kick Off took place at the breathtaking Radisson Blu Golden Sands in Mellieha. Inspired Minds from Malta and overseas joined together to discuss the previous year’s successes and obstacles while paving the way for a strong 2023. It was great to see a mix of new and experienced team members involved in the discussions and activities!
In the first segment, the team looked back at the key updates of 2022, with our Managing Director Francois giving an overview of how we’ll be looking to scale up this year.
This was followed by a segment led by our Services Manager, Tony, who walked us through the efforts that the company is taking to evolve our customer support experience. It was fascinating hearing about the Customer Portal that shall be introduced early this year!
The event then featured several concise parts, headlined by our Solution Managers, Robert and Adrian. Each segment discussed important parts of our internal processes and were both helpful for syncing up experienced and new members of our team alike.
Of course, one of the most highly-anticipated parts of the event is the Kick Off Teambuilding Activity. Named ‘Chain Reaction‘, the team had to focus on building an effective Rube Goldberg machine connecting ten separate tables! It was great to see the creativity, teamwork and communication at play during this segment.
Despite the looming deadline, each team was able to put together their part of the machine in time to reveal the hilarious finale. Well done to all the respective teams!
Another part of the Kick Off was the several workshopping sections, ensuring that each team member was able to share their thoughts, suggestions and feedback on how we can further improve our internal processes and deliver our high standard of service across our various teams.
The final part of the event was the Inspired Minds Awards. These awards recognize the contribution of a few individuals in our team who went above and beyond in their respective roles. A huge well done goes out to Lizzy, Ljuben, Aneta and Behar who all picked up an award for their hard work!
